Tomorrow I will be presenting all of my work that I've done so far for this project and I have to say I'm quite calm about it. I feel like I've gotten a lot of work done and Im pleased with how its all turned out but there is still a hell of a lot left to do before I can begin to even think about slowing down somewhat.
This project has been very tough and has pushed my artistic skills and my patience to the very limit. At times I didn't want to draw at all, I just wanted to lay down and never touch my art tools again. Other days however I just seemed to sail through my work and get lots of various things done in a matter of hours.
The module so far has been challenging, perhaps more so than I first expected. But thats also been one of the fun things about the project because I've had to force myself into creating things completely out of my comfort zone such as vehicles and weapons. Other things I've done before I've been able to get more practice with such as landscapes and humans.
So despite the stress that this module has given me so far I have in fact enjoyed it quite a lot and I really can't wait for it all to pay off and come into fruition when I get my book published properly by the Lulu self publisher.
I've made a 5 minute video for the interim crit tomorrow just showing the things that I've been getting up to which should hopefully go down well, the aim of the crit was to be professional but to market the ideas that we have so all being well I've pulled that off effectively enough.
We shall just have to see.
