So i've been going at the B.R.A.Z.I.L art book for what feels like forever now and sometimes I don't feel any closer to finishing it. But recently I've gotten a lot of work done.
I've been compiling the work that I've already been doing and putting it into the correct format and size for LuLu publishing. It takes longer that one would imagine to be honest.
When I work on a project its always HUGE, that way I can fit all the little bits and bobs into my art detail-wise to make sure its a nice quality, so my first port of call has been resizing everything down to the 9 x 7 size that the little book actually is.
Something which im not sure that I'm going to have a problem with is image bleeding in the book.
I'm using Lulu publishing and although they're an amazing website for putting books up on the web as far as measurements and templates go they haven't stated whether or not the 9 x 7 size is the full book excluding bleeding space or not. Because of this I'm trying to keep my images in the center of the pages just in case the size is including the bleeding space, that way I'm not having to worry so much about my images getting lost in the binding.
To be honest I don't have an awful lot left to do, just more compiling of pages and polishing as I go.
We have a big crit in a couple of weeks time so it will definitely be done by then which is awesome news as I was beginning to doubt that I could do it.
For now its back to my work!
