Dead Island is a perfect example of the style of gameplay that my game would be like.
The mood board that I made for this game focuses on both the infected and the uninfected humans of the world.
The reason I like these infected is that their clothing gives insight into cultural values and beliefs such as the tribal zombie in the top left and the hillbilly looking zombie in the top right.
By giving the infected noticeable clothing its easier for the audience to grasp where the story is taking place and the kind of people the infected once were.
The people designing for Dead island are also good as they show a mixture of personality. Where some of the characters seem confident and almost happy with the way they are dealing with the infected, others look tired and scared of what is happening around them thus making a good balance.
