Character Development: Murrey Fischer

Murrey is my third character that I've recently started on and he's probably the one that is the most loose looking at the moment. That said I think he's my favourite so far.

Murrey Fischer is a 46 year old man from the outskirts of Adelaide, Australia who came to Rio with his wife for carnival season as part of a round the world holiday. Back in his homeland, Murrey works as an outback tracker for tourists who want to see the Australian wildlife at its most primal out in the open. During the Rio outbreak Murrey and his wife are chased by a group of infected into their hotel room, the couple tried their best to keep the infected out but eventually they were overpowered. It was in the struggle that Murrey lost his wife to the infected.

Weeks after leaving behind the hotel Murrey stumbles upon the travelling group consisting of Nick, Sanza, Serah and Coby whom he had came into contact briefly a week before. Pleased to see them again Murrey joins the crew permanently and acts as the father figure.

Murrey has one of the most useful skills on the team, his job back home giving him the ability to track where infected have come and gone which helps the group to move more safely. He has a strong love for animals and nature though he isn't against hunting them for survival purposes. Murrey has a kind and gentle nature towards his other members of the group and often acts as the voice of reason when things get heated. He keeps a camera around his neck containing pictures of his wife and their holiday together before the outbreak.

Murrey is a ranged weapon user and is best suited to rifles or other guns, that said he can also use large knives to great effect.
